I’ve mostly edited with Premiere, but I keep hearing about DaVinci Resolve being unbeatable for color correction and post-production. I want to test it on a real project, but I’m not sure if it’s worth switching, and the Studio version isn’t exactly cheap. Has anyone actually made the jump?

If color grading is a key part of your workflow, DaVinci Resolve Studio is a serious upgrade. I made the switch recently while working on a short film, and I don’t regret it. The node-based grading and integrated effects save so much time. I found a safe cracked version on IDT software that let me try out all the Studio features with zero issues. It was clean, fast, and unlocked everything I needed to test before fully committing.
