Dr. Atul Shinagare

Dr. Shinagare is Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School, Boston, Chief of Abdominal Imaging and Intervention division at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Interim Chief of Department of Imaging at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. His areas of expertise include radiology report quality and genitourinary cancers. Dr. Shinagare is a prolific researcher with an extensive track record of high-impact publications, numerous invited national and international presentations, and excellent mentorship skills. Nationally and internationally renowned in the field of abdominal radiology, Dr. Shinagare is a Fellow of the Society of Abdominal Radiology and International Cancer Imaging Society. He has received numerous awards, including the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Honored Educator award and the RSNA Research Scholar grant. He serves on several committees for RSNA, Society of Abdominal Radiology, Society of Advanced Body Imaging, American College of Radiology, and American Board of Radiology. He also serves as Associate Editor for the journal Abdominal Radiology, and Section Editor for Cancer Imaging.
