Khaled Elsayes, MD

Dr. Khaled Elsayes is a Professor of Radiology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and The University of Texas John P. and Katherine G. McGovern Medical School in Houston.
He is the Director of Mentoring and Advancement, Department of Abdominal Imaging, Division of Diagnostic Imaging, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX.
Dr. Elsayes is a well-known and world-renowned radiologist with more than 200 peer-reviewed publications and abstracts, 100 visiting professorships, and 85 international awards.
Kathryn Fowler, MD

Kathryn Fowler, MD, is a board-certified radiologist who specializes in body and oncological imaging. She performs liver imaging, hepatobiliary imaging, pancreatic imaging, vascular imaging, magnetic resonance imaging, renal imaging, gynecological imaging, rectal imaging and GI imaging.
As an associate professor in the Department of Radiology, Dr. Fowler is involved in the teaching of fellows, residents and medical students at the UC San Diego School of Medicine, where she also serves as director of abdominal and pelvic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and director of the Liver Imaging Group (LIG).
She has lectured nationally and internationally about liver cancer, transplantation, surgery, imaging and MRI, and written several book chapters and over 150 peer-reviewed publications.
Emma c Ferguson

Dr. Emma C. Ferguson is the Program Director of Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Program
Texas since June 2018. She is also the associate PD for the UT/MDACC IR Residency and
Vice Chair for Education in Diagnostic Radiology, since June 2018.
Dr. Ferguson is a Professor in Cardiothoracic Imaging McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
Dr. Ferguson completed Diagnostic Radiology Residency at UT Houston in 2005, followed by a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Radiology (2005-2006). Following that, Dr. Ferguson has remained on staff at UT Houston since that time.
Carolynn M DeBenedectis

UMass Chan Medical School Program
Dr. Carolynn DeBenedectis is an associate professor of Radiology at the UMass Chan Medical School. She fellowship trained Women’s Imager who specializes in breast imaging. In addition to her clinical work she serves as the Radiology Residency Program Director and Vice Chair for Education. Dr. DeBenedectis has developed the first training program in the country to teach and evaluate radiology residents’ communication skills through simulation. Her training program is now part of the American College of Radiology’s official communication skills curriculum for residents. Dr. DeBenedectis is also the co-chair of the APDR Diversity Committee and has published numerous papers and led numerous initiatives to increase the number of women and underrepresented minorities in radiology. She has contributed to the creation of the APDR diversity and inclusion curriculum for residents, and most recently was awarded the Jerome Arndt Grant to create a health care disparities curriculum for radiology residents. The HCD curriculum is currently being piloted at over 40 radiology training programs
