Dr. Chhabra is Professor of Radiology and Orthopedic Surgery and serves as Chief of the Musculoskeletal Imaging Division at UT Southwestern and Parkland Health & Hospital System. He also serves as the Musculoskeletal radiology fellowship director. He is an alternate counselor at Texas Radiological society and SABI representative for ACR practice parameters. He also serves at four editorial boards including Associate Editorial roles in JCAT and JFAS.He has been awarded multiple academic laurels including GERRAF career development grant, SSR young investigator award, Tummula oration from Asian MSK society, Stephen B. Milan award, ISS mentorship recognition award, and several 1st place awards, and certificates of merits. He serves as a committee member on several national and international societies. Dr Chhabra is frequently invited to lecture nationally and internationally at numerous conferences and venues, including the keynote address to the RSNA, ARRS, SABI, Canadian, Chinese, Australian, NZ, Brazilian, Indian, and Gulf MSK societies, and the Tummala Madhusudana Rao Endowment Oration to the Asian Musculoskeletal Society. He has authored more than 290 publications, two textbooks and 30 book chapters and received multiple intramural and extramural grants. He has special interest in MR neurography and related interventions.
